My name is Javier and I joined South Hill in 2021. I grew up in the Philippines and moved to Canada when I was a teenager. I lived in Winnipeg, Manitoba for many years. I obtained my medical degree at the University of Manitoba and moved to Vancouver to complete my residency in Family Medicine at UBC in 2021.
I am primarily interested in longitudinal family medicine and exclusively work in a clinic setting. I look forward to getting to know patients long-term and being there for their needs.
I am a fluent Tagalog speaker. In my spare time, I run and bike. I also enjoy reading, cooking, and working on photography.
