Fiona completed medical school at UBC and was a graduate of the Calgary Residency Program. She enjoys all aspects of family medicine and also also provides maternity care at the South Community Birth Program. One of her many passions is working with children; she spent 5 years volunteering with the Canadian Cancer Society summer camps for children living with cancer. Her passion for Global Health has led her to volunteer and work in numerous countries, including Northern India and Ghana. She is an advocate for her patients and prides herself on providing compassionate and holistic care.
She has a love for languages and speaks Gujrati, Urdu, Hindi, and conversational French, Spanish, and Mandarin. Her interests include travelling the world, cooking, running at the beach, and spending time in the mountains. Fiona has two young daughters.
