Originally from Nova Scotia, Colleen found her way west to complete a Bachelor of Science degree at Simon Fraser University followed by a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at the University of British Columbia. She worked as a Registered Nurse on the VGH inpatient medical unit, and as a Wound, Ostomy, Continence Clinician for several years before returning to UBC to complete a Masters in Nursing, Nurse Practitioner degree.
Prior to joining the South Hill team, Colleen had 9 years of experience as an NP in primary care, primarily providing care for patients with cancer diagnoses. She also works with the Vancouver Coastal Health Assisted Dying Program. Colleen is looking forward to starting a new practice at South Hill, seeing patients across the lifespan for their primary care needs.
